Church Hall
This application has now been approved and the architects have started
on the preparation of detailed drawings with the aim of obtaining tenders and starting
work in August 2010.
Festival Applications (Stone Barn, Dairy etc)
Consent has been now received for works
to the Stone Barn to allow it to be used for additional dormitory accommodation.
Construction drawings are being prepared in tandem with the Church Hall and we envisage
that work will commence immediately after the Summer Festival in August 2010
The application for the Dairy, which is to provide a multi purpose space suitable for recitals, readings or additional rehearsal space, has been withdrawn pending preparation of an environmental assessment to ensure proper acoustic protection to the neighbouring property, after which the application will be resubmitted. The building works to this building and to Glebe Farm will form part of the next phase of works.
The Rectory
Works of repair and improvement to the Rectory are complete, significantly
helped by the Golden Jubilee Appeal and we are delighted to report that the Revd.
Dr and Mrs May have now taken occupation.
